Jose Nieto started ND Brick Pavers in 2006 with a truck, a plate compactor, and a conviction that most paver failures aren't paver failures — they're base failures. That conviction has not changed.
Over 19 years, Jose has personally overseen more than 425 projects across Tacoma, Puyallup, Gig Harbor, and the greater South Puget Sound region. The company has never grown by subcontracting labor or adding layers of management — it has grown by developing in-house crews who know Western Washington soil and treat every property like their own.

Brent Spain serves as your named project coordinator — the single point of contact from the moment you schedule a consultation through the final walkthrough. His cell number is on your contract.
Brent handles scheduling, material procurement, permit coordination, and site communication. If you have a question during your project, Brent picks up. No phone tree. No “we'll get back to you.” That accessibility is by design.
The coordination layer is what allows Jose and the installation crews to focus entirely on the work — precise cuts, engineered bases, and the craftsmanship details that make the difference between a paver job that looks good in year one and one that still performs in year twenty.

Tacoma sits on glacial till, Vashon drift, and Puget lowland clay. Base depth changes by neighborhood. We pull a soil sample on every consultation, free of charge. Your base is engineered for what's actually in your yard, not copied from a manual written for Arizona.
